Greetings! the denizens of Internet
I am Arindam Saha, the person responsible for capturing this bit of server space of wordpress. I am a undergraduate student of Physics at Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Kolkata. I love the vastness of the world around me and the fact that there is so much to learn from it. I believe that nature is a marvelous entity and hence I am in a journey to explore it to the greatest extent possible.
Academically I wander around the space where Physics enters the realm of mathematics. I am currently interested in the mathematical structure of non linear dynamics and chaos.
The rationale behind taking a bit of space on the world wide web is to meet people of various kinds and discuss things which we find interesting in the journey called life.
November 28, 2012 at 8:58 pm
We love the science world too. My first major was space science, and my husband is a biologist. When one loves nature, one can never be bored, and there is always something to give inspiration, wonder, and amazement.

Hi Arindam, thank you so much for every kind comment on my posts! Happy I bumped into you here! The whole blogging thing is new to me, so I’m always willing to make new friends.
Physics and math? Oh wow… You’re brave. I’m still having a hard time memorizing my phone number 😀 but I’d like to believe I am a scientist too, but of the human laws – since that is one of the things that you can’t really see, but rule the world around you.
Thanks for following, I’ll be following you too!

August 16, 2013 at 7:06 am
Yeah! Physics and Maths… Seems Scary? The point is… I was out of options… 😛 I seems to be the only field which requires minimal memorisation… (I was utterly poor in Arts etc…)
So you are researching on law? That’s cool!
Thanks for following… Will stay in touch…

BTW Good Luck with your Journey Arindam.. 🙂

Thanks for visiting me
October 6, 2013 at 5:45 pm
Thank you so much!
October 6, 2013 at 5:47 pm
Ab ye kahan se aayaa? Aaj bhi neend mein hain kya?
October 6, 2013 at 5:53 pm
Pehli wali nazam ke lye I said thank nhi krungi. Dosri ke lye tou kar sakti hun?
October 6, 2013 at 6:01 pm
Pehli baat to thanks keh ke dosti ko sharminda kar diya… And secondly karna hi tha to yahan pe kyun? Nazam ke saath hi kar detin… 🙂
October 6, 2013 at 6:04 pm
Wahan pe bhi kiya hae. Read my response? Wahan tou ‘million’ thanks bheji haen! 😀
Dosra ye ke dosti aese sharminda hone lagi, to banda thank kesay karey?
October 6, 2013 at 6:21 pm
Chaliye theek hai…
Aap nahin maaniyega…
Keep on thanking me… for a reason still unknown to me.
Aur haan us pehli waali nazam mein Hindi ki kitni parchhaai padi? 🙂
October 6, 2013 at 6:27 pm
WHAT is unknown here? You crafted some splendid words as a response to something I felt, and thus I feel grateful? Natural baat hy. 😉
About the Urdu poems, mine too has a word ‘dharam’ which ain’t really urdu. We have ‘deen’.
Yours have words “ishwar ke aanshoo”. I didn’t know ishwar first but ammi told me now!
GREAT effort with urdu 😀 Feels special to know you bore the ‘mushkil’ for this. 😉
And as for your question, hindi ki bus utni hi parchhaai thi jitni se uss poem ki khubsoorti aur prominent hui. =)
October 6, 2013 at 6:52 pm
🙂 Why do you always embarrass me with the overly grateful words?
Ishwar means God… but I guess you know it by now. ‘Mushkil’ to uthaani hi thi… recently, many people told me that my Hindi is a bit ‘pure’ (which means it uses lot more Sanskrit words than Urdu derived words)… So I thought agar Hindi mein likhoonga to aap ko samajh mein shaayad naa aaye…
Regarding ishwar ke aansoo… I guessed it would be foreign to you. I tried to change it but couldn’t do it satisfactorily… 😦
October 6, 2013 at 7:54 pm
Because I feel grateful for it?
Agar completely hindi me hoti tou yaqeenan samajh nhi ati 😛 I don’t know hindi like you know urdu… though there are a lot of words we both use commonly, in Pak and Bharat, which makes conversation easier!
October 6, 2013 at 9:25 pm
Bharat! 🙂 Good to hear that 🙂 Thank you for using that!
Koi nahin aap bhi seekh jaayengi Hindi! Main hoon na 😉
October 6, 2013 at 9:31 pm
Mery ek ‘bharat’ use karny pe ‘thank you’ bolny wala shakhs apni poetry pe thank you nhi bolne de raha tha.
😀
Lol yup I will try to learn some of it at least, and Bangali too..
October 6, 2013 at 9:43 pm
*Shy face* 🙂 Sometimes some words by some people go directly to heart. 🙂
Hmm Bengali!… Kal subah naya word sikhaunga… 🙂
To kripya praatah kaal ki prateeksha karein 😉
Samajh mein aaya ?
October 6, 2013 at 9:53 pm
Haha right.
And nope, do you think mjhy samajh me asakta hy? 😛 Google se search kar ke I could have told, but it failed. 😦
October 6, 2013 at 10:03 pm
🙂 Kripya matlab please
Praatah kaal matlab morning
Prateeksha matlab wait (intezaar)
Ab amajh mein aaya ?
October 6, 2013 at 10:03 pm
Okay I will wait. 😀
October 6, 2013 at 10:06 pm
😀 To kal tak k liye khudaa haafiz 🙂
October 6, 2013 at 10:11 pm
Allah bhelay 😀
October 7, 2013 at 9:55 am
Nomoshkar Maria!
Suprabhaat!
🙂
October 7, 2013 at 9:58 am
Good morning. 🙂
October 7, 2013 at 10:00 am
Great going!
Kemon aachho? 😉
October 7, 2013 at 10:03 am
Uh I am good, thank you. 😛
October 7, 2013 at 10:04 am
infact: Bhalo achi, apni?
October 7, 2013 at 10:06 am
Good good! Yeh kahan se seekha? Google?
October 7, 2013 at 10:08 am
Nope, google is a loser.
October 7, 2013 at 10:08 am
OK… Then?
October 7, 2013 at 10:14 am
*secret* ? 😀
October 7, 2013 at 10:17 am
I hate secrets (and secret-keepers)… 🙂 😉
October 7, 2013 at 10:22 am
Aee haee. Are you saying you hate me?
October 7, 2013 at 10:27 am
I don’t want to be hated abhi se, here is the link I got help from:
http://www.flashcardmachine.com/bengali1.html 🙂
October 7, 2013 at 10:48 am
Impressive … 😉
Ok so you knew about suprabhaat?
And just a small correction… Aapni is extremely formal in bangla… So ‘tumi’ is a better alternative
October 7, 2013 at 10:59 am
But Aapni sounds so good!
And I didn’t know any of it before, not even suprabhaat. Aj hi found this, to reply you.
October 7, 2013 at 11:14 am
Dedication huh? Good!
No doubt aapni sounds good… just that it is used only the people you don’t know… like those you meet on roads (paraaye log). ‘Tumi’ means ‘tum’ and ‘tui’ means ‘tu’.
Interestingly… hindi/urdu mein bade rishtedaaron ko aap bulate hain but bengali mein ‘tumi’ bulaate hain… Even our own parents (or grand parents) 😛
October 7, 2013 at 11:16 am
Whoops. Acha. 😀
October 7, 2013 at 10:21 am
আমি ভালো আছি|
ওখানেও কি বৃষ্টি পড়ছে?
Ab dekhte hain… 🙂
October 7, 2013 at 10:22 am
Of course I don’t know sir! 😀
October 7, 2013 at 11:06 am
Haha… Of course! I just wanted to check if your secret could translate the script too…
I just asked if it is raining there too… 😉
October 7, 2013 at 11:14 am
No sir, my ‘secret’ has failed already. 😀
No, it isn’t raining.
October 7, 2013 at 11:18 am
😀
October 8, 2013 at 8:35 am
Hi Arindam, I came across your blog after following some random links… and I’m glad I did! This is a treasure cove of wonderful writing. Your poetry is inspiringly beautiful. Keep up the amazing work!

Sure thing
October 28, 2013 at 11:09 pm
Ahhh another wanderer in the realms of science 🙂 Nice blog. Thanks for visiting mine 🙂
P.S. I do wonder what non linear chaos is….. 🙂
October 29, 2013 at 7:53 am
Thanks for the visit 🙂
Non linear dynamics studies systems whose dynamics is governed by non-linear differential equations.
Chaos is a phenomenon related to non linear dynamics in which the system becomes extremely sensitive to initial conditions; that is if the initial configuration of the system may be altered a little bit, the final behaviour of the system would be extremely different.
Understood anything? 🙂
October 30, 2013 at 6:06 pm
Hmm bits of it 🙂
The butterfly effect.right?Well the chaos theory has diagnostic value in medical science too…So may be I’ll come across it someday.I really like Edward Lorenz’s definition of chaos though… When the present determines the future, but the approximate present does not approximately determine the future…Wow.
A pretty interesting thing to study,I must say 🙂
November 23, 2013 at 2:46 pm
Pheeww..That was hard to understand, considering I wander around the Medical realm !
Haha..Great introduction Arindam. Its really nice to meet you 🙂
November 23, 2013 at 3:35 pm
Well… if it was hard to understand, then how did you realize that the intro was great? 😛 🙂
Glad to meet you too… Going through your blog now… 🙂
November 23, 2013 at 3:38 pm
Haha..I said it was “hard to understand”…not “I didn’t understand it at all” ! 😀
I understood it eventually, after rubbing together 100 thousands neurons in my brain 😛 And now you are responsible for their early demise 😛
And you are welcome on my blog, Thanks 🙂
November 23, 2013 at 9:08 pm
Badi aasaani se aapne mujhe murderer banaa diya… woh bhi 100 thousand masoom lives ka… Too bad 😛
And yeah, I am coming… you too keep visiting 🙂
November 23, 2013 at 9:12 pm
Hahaha…Bus ap ny baaten he kuch ese ki the ky dimagh ki dahi ban gae ! 😀

I’m so not a doer.
High-procrastination-mode. 😐
December 22, 2013 at 9:26 am
Do logon mein itni saari similarities kaise ho saktin hain? :P… I am so shocked 😉
December 23, 2013 at 4:20 am
You too? 😀
Kismet kismet ki baat hai. 😛 Aap mujhe mera cool-er version lagtay ho. 😉
Abb shokhay matt ho jana. 😛
December 23, 2013 at 2:09 pm
Cooler? Depend karta hai… Aap Pakistan mein kahan se ho… uspe 😉
December 23, 2013 at 9:34 pm
Sialkot se. 😛 Jammu se 40 km door hai. Aa jao kabhi border tor k, kisi ko kya pta lagna. 😀
December 24, 2013 at 4:52 am
Sahi hai… But ek problem hai… Zyada badi nahin… Mera ghar (Bhopal) Sialkot se 1500 km door hai… Aur Uni (Kolkata) 3000 km… Bahut time lagega… 😛
Anyhow on the cooler issue… You are definitely are cooler. Mere yahan ka temperature aapke yahan se zyada hi hai… 😉 😛
December 31, 2013 at 4:33 pm
Bhopal? Eek! 😀 New Bhopal ya Old Bhopal? I only know Moti Masjid hai wahan. 😛 And oh, NIFT. Haye. 😀
Haha Humaray toh inner-city travelling mein itna time lagta hai, across the border is door ki baat 😦 I’ve wanted to see India though. There are these cool Lays flavors there that they don’t sell in Pakistan 😀
Lol. These days, I’m so not cool. What can be uncooler than a teenager sitting at home, sleeping through their entire days. Tsk, the perks of being a college-less person! 😛
January 1, 2014 at 9:17 pm
New Bhopal… 🙂 Aur bhi bahut saari cheezen hain Bhopal mein… Aa jaayiye… Ghumaa doonga 🙂
College ke entrance exams ho gaye? 🙂
January 2, 2014 at 1:46 pm
NIFT bhi please. 😀 God, I wish I could have a tour to India. Mazaa aa jaye ga 😀
They’re starting again from feb. Hence the reason why I’m not in my right mind 😛

Have you seen dangerous knowledge?
June 13, 2014 at 6:33 pm
Science nerd? No sir! Just a student…
And I have seen knowledge… We all have… and so… in the due course… have seen ‘dangerous knowledge’ too… BTW all knowledge can be dangerous…
Anyways… welcome to the blog 🙂
